I made this art journal in 2005; and I wrote this LJ entry in 2011. If I were to update it for 2020, it would be a much, much different letter to Amy. It's unreal where twenty years of hindsight will lead you and yes, to your point, I thank God every day that I survived. So many others weren't as lucky. I'll add you here in hopes that you're going to post more than one entry, I'd love to keep reading!

Amber's story is nothing short of tragic. We were not friends, but I think of her often. I was disentangling from Amy while Amber was getting wrapped up, so I kept a distance for my own safety and mental health. I have a couple private entries about it from, God... nearly 20 years ago. I'll send you the links if you're interested in reading. I know her death was a matter of a simple overdose, sadly one of many, but the whole thing has always felt shrouded in mystery to me..
