I really love this! The way Tripp and Maureen dance around each other is described perfectly. I'm always torn about canon!Tripp now post-Serena--I want him to work for Maureen's forgiveness for as long as it takes, but I just want them to be happy with each other too--and you just put those feelings here. Nice work with fleshing Maureen out too. There needs to be more of her in fic!

But seriously, you're so correct. The character assassination Tripp went through because of the show was absolutely no way to leave his character. You just know they'd have to work it out. Maureen is just too awesome and fierce for it not to.
