Last night's run: after rain

I ran late yesterday... around 8:30pm. I was going to run after work, but despite my attempt to beat the approaching thunderstorm, it caught up with me about 10 minutes after I got home. I think it might nice to run in the rain, at least a light rain, definitely not the wind howling rain this was. I wasn't going to run after that, just going to

I can't tell you how much I appreciate the vivid details of your walk. Being holed up on bed rest, I can live vicariously through you! Really though, thanks for posting this. Sounds like such a beautiful neighborhood.

I admire you for getting out there and running. I've thought about running for such the longest time but I've been too chicken to do it outdoors around here. Now, parts of San Diego are safe, but there is a nearby street know for street walkers and drug dealers and I don't want to chance it. I got an elliptical machine for now and it works, but I like to read about your running :)
