15 minutes in the VP's office to reminisce about how freaking long I have worked there, and then I get what looks like a tie tack.
I grumped about the ridiculousness of summing up my service with a tie tack, and my funny friend had a cupcake with candles and a fake certificate of appreciation for me when I returned. She even had a fake cash award in the form of a million dollar bill. hee hee. I have it magneted over my monitor. One of the signatures on the bottom is a blank designated "(Signed) Grateful Nation" and which is signed, "GRATEFUL NASHUN" with the "R" backwards.
I was so tickled I cried a bit.
