You know what strikes you when watching the original Star Trek over again now? The amount of references to the Nazis in it. And that there is an episode which is uncomfortable because Nimoy and Shatner, the two Jewish stars of the show, are parading around in Storm Trouper and other National Socialist uniforms. I hadn't actually gotten that as a child, and I feel weird that it makes me laugh so much now.
