Celebration of the announcement that the last of the American slaves were free. 1865, maybe? Apparently, some of the original celebrants were illiterate, and "June the 19th" got shortened to "Juneteenth." Not for federal workers here, but I think district employees might get a holiday?

Hmm... according to Wikipedia (the undisputed authority on all that is True) June 19th is also World Sauntering Day.

Yep, I knew that, but I was out of town being an ADULT BUSINESS PERSON. Which is not the same thing as a sex worker, by the way...

What kind of ADULT BUSINESS PERSON stuff did you do? Any of it fun? Did it involve proactively networking and forwardly incentivizing? Did you saunter?
