Movits!

Just got home from the IOTA Club and Movits! night. I went by my lonesome, talked to some nice strangers in the audience, got a CD signed, chatted with the waitress, and spent a while talking to Johan Rensfeldt, who might be a serial killer in real life, who knows, but was a delightful man at the club, chatting politely with clumps of fans. He seemed really really nice and socially aware.

The show was wonderful. I haven't danced that much since a TMBG show, I think. They play faster and harder in person, with enormous amounts of base. It rendered some of the songs like early 80s punk almost. Good energy, and they tried to speak as much English as they could, which was over and above. I was almost in a trance by the time they quit.

Sue: this made me think of you- Anders Rensfeldt in person was most handsome; finely wrought features, especially around the mouth. A beautiful line to his cheeks, great hair and his nose in 3/4 profile is gorgeous. I hadn't spotted this fact on video.

EDIT:

multi-layered things, movits!, music, geezing at concerts
