Happy Thing Day 4

Happy Thing for today:
My former office mate is now my boss - after a meeting this morning, she kept me a few minutes and we ended up talking about how our old jobs back in the day had been awful. It had been a bit of a sweatshop, and we laughed remembering 20 years ago when we were answering the phone with someone yelling out to us when calls were backing up, y'know, as if we were all sitting at our desks painting our nails or cleaning our ears with a #2 pencil. Ah, yeah. Funny how yesterday's source of angst and annoyance is today's laugh.
Also, I bought a new costume jewely pin and earings in wanton whore Christmas-y red crystal last night, and I am wearing them as I type. Getting quite excessive joy from looking down at the pin. :) Also, I am not wearing a suit, but slacks and a green sweater-over-a-blouse. haha!
