Interesting. I got the same result. Not that keen on the interpretation: being independent means not wanting a relationship? Being in a relationship requires clinginess?
Yeah, I argue with the language too - although, to be fair, it is the ATTACHMENT style test, not the relationship style test. In that light, I am indeed very independent and do not make emotional attachments easily. (That's been the precursor to many a relationship issue in the past, I'll admit.) However, it's a very judgementally-written quiz, and as pleased as I am to be labeled with pictures of Han Solo and Beatrice, I really don't like the implication that I'm emotionally incapable of supporting a relationship.
Yes, the Han Solo and Beatrice pictures were the reason I took the quiz at all!
And it's true that I tend to be pretty independent. I do have a lot of very close attachments, but a tendency to lose track of them pretty quickly if I move away and don't see people. I agree with you, though about the "emotionally incapable" part - just not true!
*chuckle* Me too! I admit, they're two of my favorite movie characters played by two of my favorite actors, and who wouldn't want to be a cross of hunkiness and sassiness?
I'm a very independent person myself. I do have close attachments, but they're attachments I worked hard at creating. I'm also bad with distance, as you are, but when the attachment's strong and important enough, I'll do my best to keep it up. "Emotionally incapable", though, is just bullshit. I'm just more of a Vulcan than the average American.
