AND...I'm back
The Final Fantasy XI FanFest was pretty cool. Not as a cool as an anime con or anything, or as cool as if it were all final fantasy, but still okay. I learned a lot about the game, got to meet the developers, see cool costumes, watch funny videos, each free lunch, go to downtown disney, and play the new expansion pack. All and all a good time. I also bought a baby chocobo plushie. SO CUTE! it is. and it's soft.
While down there I also got to go to little tokyo with my friend Anna from yaoi con and her friend Greg (who i guess is my friend too) who was also at yaoi con. we got there too late to really do any shopping, which is okay. We got some really yummy food and had a good time talking about Naruto ^_^. She's coming up this was for thanksgiving and we have plans to hit up J-town on saturday. I'm so excited!!! She's going to Japan for four months for a study abroad thing so that's sad, but I'll see her again at AX for sure! She's probably going to room with me ^_^ and Steve (who said it was okay) and maybe James!!! <-- my friend from here who also likes anime and said he would love to go to AX with us.
All and all it's all good, or something like that.
Oh and speaking of FF, I got the new FF XII game from work for the DS. And let me tell you, the battle system is kinda hard to master ^_^; i admit i suck at it. It's very similar to the minigame in VII where you control these little guys who are battling people coming up the hill to steal your condor's egg. Remember that? It's hard to explain. In short, it's really cool, but hard. Oh and Rock Band is taking over the office. We've been ending work a half hour early so we can play and leaving at least a half hour late. It's so much fun. Guess what I am in the band ^_^.
