oh d-d-d-d-d-dear
there are so many times that i think about writing on this thing, and just read everyone elses and leave it at that. I don't seem to think I have much of interest to say. However, I did do something note-worthy this past week, and that was to take 25 kids hyped up on cotton candy to a Blazer game. wow. yeah I am crazy. The cool part was surprising them by taking them onto the court so that they could all high-five the Blazers and they ran onto the court.
The rest actually wasn't that bad, aside from all the bathroom and waterfountain breaks we went on, with exception with the very end when we had to navigate our line of bouncing children through the crouded rose garden. Oh my god. they were like a row of baby ducks you see on the side of the road and are terrified are going to fall into a storm drain.
anyhoo, thus goes the Americorps job... very nerve-wracking and energy sucking, but totally worth it.
