Sweet! What was it like? I suppose that would depend on what time of year you went there... Why were you there? Did you see any polar bears? :D

I was six years old. It was June. We probably saw a moose. From the window of the dodge caravan. :D

Nice! :D Out of curiosity, remind me again whereabouts you're from...? Your story would be less impressive if you were a native of Alaska, for instance. ;) Unless you came across the Klondike Pass or what have you, on snowshoes, in a blizzard. ;)

We drove the length of the Al-Can highway.

It was epic awesome. My dad's ship was based in Fairbanks over the summer, and we drove up to meet him -- my mom, my 3-year-old sister, and our six-month-old puppy. Epic.
