Wow, lovely pics.

And try to evaluate whether or not your professor has a good point, or if he's just being a snotty academic. Could you have thought through your inspired ideas more?

You can always do better, of course, but do it for yourself.

Yep, I probably could have elaborated on some of my ideas a bit more, and I did feel like I was jumping from topic to topic a bit... but the problem is, although I could have elaborated a bit on some of those ideas, there was no way that I had enough to say about each one to make the whole essay (which had to be 5,000 words long) revolve around just one of these small themes, you know? D: I felt that I couldn't narrow things down and FOCUS.

We weren't allowed to use secondary documents - just the Domesday Book - and I felt that I was going into the topic blind, because I knew very little about the thing to begin with. I couldn't double-check my facts against another, higher, authority, you know? I dunno... I've learned a lot about what not to do while writing this thing, at the very least. D:
