Anyway, I love the way you've depicted their relationship - how Alice is finding fault in everything from Bella's underwear to her shampoo because they aren't fancy enough. I also love how the scene is so intimate, and sexual in a subtle, UST kind of way.
My particular favorite parts are:
I trusted her because she trusted herself.
and
Alice met my eyes and smiled reassuringly, though I could tell she was flustered by the shade of her eyes the way someone could read it in my flushed cheeks.
