author's note: oh lauren. though the movies forgot you, i never have. title and inspiration from mirah's "dreamboat." funny funny song.

summary: edward in eclipse: "you’re too desirable for your own good... do i have to send a petition around to get you to believe? shall i tell you whose names would be on the top of the list? you know a few of them, but some might surprise you.”

In her fantasies she doesn’t have to say a word. It’s always the same scenario; Bella nipping at her lips, Bella begging to taste her. Riding shotgun in Bella’s rusty truck, cab the setting for all sorts of dirty unspeakables. Bella’s palm hidden inside her denim back-pocket. Everyone spitting rumors about Forks’ first case of girl-love, gaping and sputtering like hooked trout, because Bella was hers all along.

But Lauren isn’t stupid enough to believe it. She knew it the day Bella came traipsing into town, all naïve-vanilla and gravity-sick. She wasn’t the type of girl who wanted to be stolen.

It makes her feel nauseous, dirty, to think that she’s no better than Mike or Eric, puppy dogs sniffing at her feet, or Edward and that Quillette hulk, trying to piss all over her. At least Lauren’s not so obvious about it. At least there’s that.

But there are times when she thinks that Edward knows. She’s not sure how, but there are moments when her eyes are glazed over with thoughts of her fingers curled inside Bella’s cunt and she notices Edward’s fists in tight knots, gaze furious and pitying. Bullshit. There’s no way.

This is not some B-plot to an alleyway cinema flick, about the sweet innocent who falls for the bitch. So she hisses a forked-tongue at Bella in the florescence of the cafeteria, all the while dreaming at night of lapping that same tongue between her perky tits.

And it will never always be enough.

title: i'll put a spell on you
fandom: twilight
character(s)/pairing(s): angela/bella
rating: g
word count: 213
prompt:  the lovers for the femslash100 tarot challenge (9/21)
spoilers: based on a throwaway line from eclipse, like the one above, but no spoilers.

summary: fluff. she’s beaming as she reemerges, the signature pointed hat perched on her head.

“What do you think?”

Angela twirls in a little crescent, hands and renaissance sleeves tucked coyly behind her back, the skirt of her tattered frock swishing to and fro. The buckles of her pointed boots clank together as she crosses her legs at the knees.

Bella’s eyes widen at the off-the-shoulder black dress, noting gleefully that it’s probably the most skin Angela has ever bared. In public at least. Bella feels rather plain in her shapeless Velma costume.

“You look… amazing.” Bella swallows. “But aren’t you missing something?”

Angela squints and furrows in confusion before widening her eyes and flailing back into the bedroom.

She’s beaming as she reemerges, the signature pointed hat perched on her head. But she watches as her girlfriend’s grin falls in increments, belaying her insecurities.

“You don’t think it’s too much?” Angela questions nervously, picking at the sleeves and nibbling her lip.

She hides her smile under her hand, resting her chin on Angela’s shoulder as the other girl reaches for her transportation for the night: a broom.

“Of course not. You’re magical.”

Angela wrinkles her nose even as she giggles and kisses the corner of Bella’s mouth. “That’s cheesy.”

Bella swats at her as she walks away, adjusting her fake glasses and her frumpy(er) orange sweater.

“Witch.”
