(no subject)
ok it is midnight and for the 3rd night in a row I cannot fall asleep. So I said the hell with it and got up. I have surfed the web. Figured out what I am going to give my mother for Mother's Day and caught up on my friends journals. I was on vacation last week and it rained. Yahoo, but at least I was not at work and I still have 3 more weeks of vacation left. And I only had to work at the same place for 20 years. I am planning a garden (stop laughing Jessica) I have tomatoes and green peppers to plant. I figure I have a chance since we no longer have a very large dog to run through my garden. OH and big news I am building a shed this weekend with my dad. And I get to use a nail gun. Totally cool and I am a loser...I know. Maybe it will entice me to paint my living room, which I did NOT do over vacation. Much too busy catching up on my sleep and doing nothing!!!
It is very strange how quiet the house is when everyone is sleeping. The only noise is sound of my nails pecking on the keyboard and the kitten attacking a roll of paper towels. Anyone with annoying paper towels, call me, I can send my kitten Henri over to take care of them. He wins every time! He likes toilet paper too, better if it is on the roll.
My son is playing baseball and doing great!! I know I am his mom but if he sucked I just would not mention it. But he is really good!!! Pitched 3 innings no hits. They lost 12-10 in the 5th inning it was too dark to continue. Next game is Thurs but he won't pitch, rules say they have to rest for 2 days.
Baseball season means I get to visit with my mother at the ballpark. Does not get any better than that. I pay $110 a session to get her out of my head and in 2 hours time she worms her way back in. How does she do it? I must remain strong!!
Well I better try to sleep or I will be a mess tomorrow.
