Independence Day
Today marks the 108th Philippine Independence Day.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY to all of us Pinoys!

I can't believe I haven't posted in more than 2 weeks now. I sound like a broken record because, again, I've just been really busy. After finishing my clinicals at the Namayan Health Center we had our 3rd Monthly Exams, and just this past Friday and Saturday, we started with 12-hour clinicals at the Manila Naval Hospital.
As if that's not enough, we have Finals scheduled this week and our Pinning ceremony this coming Sunday.
And you'd think they'd let us rest for at least a week after the Finals. But no! The next term starts Monday next week.
Aaaaaarrgggghhhhh!

I've been drinking lately. Nothing too heavy, and never enough for anyone to consider me drunk, but I've been drinking more than I have since who knows when. B.I. kasi si Jay, my classmate and close friend from school.
Actually, that's not entirely true. It's just that, for the first time in my life since high school, I actually have friends in school. Meron akong barkada to hang out with and do things with. Drinking just happens to be one of those things. But still, that makes me really happy.
Idagdag pa natin na nakakasama ko si kras. Teehee. *KILIG* Although it's actually just been Jay and me who hang out when we go to Zayteenya along Timog (where San Mig Lite is super bar-price cheap at P25).

Jay and I have become pretty close. People might misconstrue that, as they have done before with other guy friends of mine, and maybe sometimes I wanna believe in why they do. But I still think my guy friends think I'm "safe," which kinda sucks, if you know what I mean.
Meanwhile, I have become his sounding board for his issues with his very colorful lovelife. Hmmm...

I finally got to hang out again with Jon after what felt like eternity. We met for lunch at Teriyaki Boy in Megamall. Kaso na-miss ko lang sya lalo after namin maghiwalay. Hayyy...
Pero nakakatawa sya. Parang wala sya sa sarili kanina. Here's an excerpt from our convo...
ME: I'm trying to find work for my nephew...
HIM: Ano yung nephew mo... babae?
ME: (long pause, just staring at him)... Ha?!
HAHAHA
O ayan, FRIEND, pinost ko na yang blooper of the day mo. Amishu pa rin!

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock have a new movie called The Lake House and it's showing on the 14th. Can't wait to see it! I'm such a sucker for romantic movies.
