i was there a loooooooooong time ago. 20+ years ago. My mom, dad, and younger sister have been back over the last few years or so, but my youngest sister, as well as myself have not been. Though i hope to visit soon. Haven't seen my family there since i was about 7, and no one has met my youngest sister. My parents married in Olongapo City, i was conceived in PI, but born in Japan, when dad got stationed back there.
The OoTP is going to be released on the 11th too. Presale tickets go on sale next friday. I already have the theater page as my homepage, so i can just order and go. I have plans made with my pal, who will be in line while i am at work. TEE HEE. i may try to get to the premiere in LA on the 8th. I have to check out my schedule. I can't believe it's almost here. eeek!
oh gawd! tell me about it! i think i'm gonna see the movie about 5x with different sets of friends. LOL i'll see it at least once on IMAX, for sure. oh and i also always watch the first showing on opening day. can't wait! yippee!
oh and pardon me for the personal questions but... are your parents Filipinos?
5x with 5 different sets of friends. same here. tee hee. then i may just see it by myself, just because. lol. like after work just go and watch. i totally am going to see it on IMAX. A friend has already invited me. I can't believe i haven't even seen the previous in imax format before. can't wait.
Hey, no problem about the personal questions....as long as it's not too personal...;P My mom was born in the Philippines, Dad, in the US. He was in the Navy, got stationed in PI for a while, they met, blah blah blah, marriage, then more blah blah and moving around. And here we are in San Diego. Tee hee. My mom's family, still there.
Back to Harry Potter.....when does the book come out over there? same time? I need to prepare like a HP "don't spoil me" kit for when the book comes out. lol.
LOL. well, the book comes out here on the same day, July 21st. i'm going to be unavailable that weekend, for sure, so i can finish the book and won't have to risk stupid inconsiderate people spoiling me. LOL.

I've probably been to more places, when i lived there for a few months, but I only know of Agusan del Norte - Butuan as being the only place.
