Plains of grief

Oct 03, 2005 11:04

I have seen beyond the shapes,
behind the mask, beneath the space,
I have broken through your skin,
your flimsy life, your shattered dreams.
The sun glows read,
the water's green.
The ground provides me open fields,
the air commends my restless fears.

I've driven through, across these plains,
my fearless heart, embracing strenght
I'll never turn to face my rest,
I'm pulling through this fiery fest;
Across the sea,
my pain grows deep.
The cold incinerates my skin,
the rain a-whispers in my ear,

the sun-kissed songs of my eternal grief.
