Writer's Block: Going Without
I have fasted before...The youth group at my church used to do a 24-hour fast to raise money for various things, like the food pantry, sister churches in other countries, or for missionaries. It was always super fun. We'd all get together and have a sleep-over in the churches great hall. We'd play games and sing and just be wild. The time went by so fast too...When it was over I'd always be surprised how easy it was. I've often thought of doing longer stints of fasting, but I've never really had the free time.
