Aaah....it's beginning to feel like winter!
I know. You hear most people bitching about it but I actually like the cold weather. Yes, the house gets kinda cold because it is over 100 years old but I sleep better in cold weather. Pull up the blanket and actually be able to breathe while you sleep. Novel concept! The fact that waking up in a house this old, it will be well below 60 degrees in the house, as tonight is dipping into the 30s. It makes getting out of a warm bed hard but it means I don't need coffee!
Been a busy but nice week. Had late lunch with sassysesame , sketchington , geekissexy23 and fwod Sunday. Spent some time with gothiqroze going to R Thomas' for late night beverages a couple days in a row. Didn't go into work this morning but went in this afternoon to get a monthly press release uploaded to the work website. Had dinner with DragonCon folks going over this past con in order to make preparations for '08. Hopefully we'll have a few things approved to make the Photo Staff function a bit better and have a few new items, such as a new backdrop.
Saturday there is a meeting for Frolicon staff. Sunday is a meeting for TimeGate. Going to be a meeting-full weekend. :)
On a side note, Monday is Veteran's Day. As a state employee, I get the day off. Anyone else have the day off? I was thinking about finding something to do for the day. Maybe have lunch and find some mischief to get into. Any takers?
