Punch and Judy. [subtle details]

For the past month, I have been working on a movie with 6 of my closest friends. A few months ago, my friend Nate wrote a script that I read and discussed with him and we edited it a little and then a little more over spring break, but with everything going on, we couldn't figure out a time to really make the movie itself. Then it was decided. Summer '05, Punch and Judy was to be born. The 20-page student film known first as "Punch" and then as "Punch and Judy" became our child, our lives, our very existance. It went into pre-production about a month ago and last week, it was filmed. Seven days of no sleep, Rockstar energy drinks, napping, arguing, loving, decisions, Tofuti Cuties, cars, cameras, bed sheets, apartments, Vitamin Waters, cigarettes (lots), fake blood, and sod have ended and we are left with some incredible footage. In the coming weeks, our beautiful movie will be edited into a final project under the careful eye of our very own director and in about a month it will be ready to be viewed by the public. To be completely honest, I'm a little nervous, but very excited for everyone to see all the hard work, time and love we put into this, but I couldn't be more ready to let you know what I've spent my summer on.

Here, from my lens, lies the world of Punch and Judy through the eyes of a producer, a lover, a peer, a therapist and just a kid.
