i pretty much loathe winter term.
- it's cold and gray and not snowing.
- it's pledgeship.
- things didn't really work out like i wanted them to.
- i have an 8 am class 2 days a week, which is pretty much miserable.
- there's nothing going on, and that's okay because the party scene is wearing a little thin for me.
- plus, i somehow managed to do something to my body and now when i drink i don't get drunk but i do get very sick. funnn.
ON THE OTHER HAND...
+ classes are not as hard this term, even latin. and yeah, i go from 8-4:30 on M/W, but i don't have any class tuesdays or thursdays...
+ our new pledges are fantastic and rather a lot of fun to have around.
+ several mixers planned for this term, with some of my favorite frats.
+ quality apartment time, esp involving BUFFY
+ new car & road trip with Shreysie!
but then again...
- don't have a date for pledge formal, don't have anyone that i both want and can ask (effing pledgeship)
- v. worried about FD date situation (thus, need for pledge formal date to ensure reciprocation. yes, i really do think about things like that)
- general ennui
is it the wrong season to say "bah humbug"?
