(no subject)
Today i was told:
"I really like your mom.,. most times better than mine...? but once she slipped out .. after a luncheon, that "Erica is just like you" ... but in a weird tone... and so of course I said....:"and what 's so bad about that?!" so of course she said nothing, but she explained it's easier when kids follow an exact plan.... and not "follow their own path" and we sat in my parents drive way b/c I wanted her to explain how my "non exact" plans did me wrong...? and she finally addmitted that she admired forward thinking, she (and my mom) never did take those chances.
she was really surprised when she said we were similar, it's a compliment to us, but she said it in a "way" that I thought was weird, so I called her on it.."
