After knowing this:
Old Navy will be removing its Women's Plus line, providing sizes 16W -26W, from its stores. While Old Navy will still be offering the clothing online, many women say they will no longer spend money at the retailer in response to this decision.
In a form letter sent in response to complaints, the retailer states "After much evaluation, and as difficult a decision as it was, we will be removing the Women's Plus line from all of our Old Navy stores. Please accept our sincere apologies for any disappointment this
may cause you."
The Women's Plus line, which originally was offered online and in 50 stores, expanded to 175 stores before the decision to remove the plus size clothing to offer it only online. Although the decision was made last year, the issue gained new scrutiny after Mia Amber, a plus size model and actress posted her disappointment with the decision online.

I decided to write to them, something simple, just so they knew they had costumers that like and shop there constantly.

Hi,Im a costumer at your store. I was informed you are not gonna sell anymore plus size clothing, why is that? and why are we being banned to the internet? Many plus size women shop at your store, this is a mayor disappointment to us all.

All I got was the generic reply
Dear Natalia, Thank you for your e-mail regarding our Women's Plus line. After much evaluation, and as difficult a decision as it was, we have removed the Women's Plus line from all of our Old Navy stores. Please accept our sincere apologies for any disappointment this may cause you. However, we continue to carry Women's sizes 1-20 in our stores. Although we no longer carry Women's Plus in any of our stores, the complete line is still available on our website at oldnavy.com. We sincerely hope that you visit our Plus department to see the great styles and selection that we can offer online. You can place an order on the web or by calling 1-800-OLD-NAVY, option one. In addition, your returns may still be taken to our Old Navy stores if this is more convenient. Our online representatives are available 24 hours a day to assist you with questions or order placement. We hope this information is helpful and look forward to shopping with you soon.
Sincerely, Katherine Customer Service Consultant
