Title: Playing for Pleasure
Fandom: Neighbours RPS
Chapter: 1/1. One shot. I hope. But it screams for sequels. If I’m in a PWP mode I might write one.
Rating: PG13
Word Count: Under a thousand.
Summary/ Timeline: Set during the filming of episode 4747
Disclaimer: Never happened, I just wish it did.
AN: It’s very short, the writing isn’t my best, the pov keeps switching randomly and the actors are probably very ooc. I apologise for abusing them so much. I’m very anxious about this.

Playing for Pleasure

Stefan is so bored of playing dead, but at least it’s slightly better than acting in pain. Today’s the scene where he’s finally rescued by Sky and Dylan. He sighs at the thought, really not thrilled at the idea and he’d much rather be tucked up in bed with his wife Gail, the boys fast asleep, cup of coffee in his hand and watching some brainless programme on the box. Instead, he’s here; he’s frozen and wet, and seriously bored. Suddenly, he realises this is the perfect opportunity to have some fun.

Stephanie arrives first, they don’t really talk and there are long moments filled with uncomfortable silence. Damien arrives late, all fired up and ready to film. Stefan rolls his eyes and dives into the water.

He’s not going to make it easy for Damien to drag him to safety, but Damien is frustratingly strong and he’s able to do it with not that much of a fuss. The take remains intact. He can feel Damien’s palms all over his chest and wonders what it must look like. That’s what gives him the idea.

Dylan is giving Paul the kiss of life and it’s too good an opportunity for Stefan to miss. He turns it into one of those big Hollywood kisses, one that he’s always wanted to do and it’s as cheesy as he’d always imagined. Damien is young and pliant so he gives into the joke immediately. The director is screaming ‘cut’ but the kiss doesn’t end until they both need to breathe. And now they’re both on the ground, Stefan on top. He rolls over and dissolves into giggles.

It’s actually pretty undignified for a man to giggle but Damien can’t help but think it’s a good look on Stefan. He knows Stefan is just using him for a laugh and a part of him even admires the guy for it. Damien’s well aware how actors can become their characters. Jackie and Alan are like a married couple in real life. Damien isn’t Dylan and he knows Stefan isn’t perfect, but that doesn’t mean he can stop himself from worshipping the man. No matter how much they both tease each other. Stefan only does it for fun; Damien has a whole other motive.

“Get me a coffee, will you Damien?” Stefan pleads, not even getting up off the ground. Damien looks down at him, trying to deny his request for as long as he can. He lasts all of five seconds.

“Sure.” Damien replies breathlessly. “’Cos at your age, you need to save your legs.” Stefan moves as if to chase Damien, he’s done it before. They’ve even wrestled before. Damien really needs to think of new ways to tease Stefan because singing ‘Don’t It Make You Feel Good?’ is seriously getting old and he needs new ways to provoke him. He loves being chased by Stefan. He’s rarely caught but that’s probably because Stefan doesn’t really want to beat him up. He’s kind of disappointed Stefan decides to stay where he is now but there’s nothing he can do about it, so he fetches Stefan’s coffee instead.

“That’s pathetic, he’s not your lap dog. Why couldn’t you get it yourself?” Stephanie confronts him.

“Ohh, it’s doing no harm. And he doesn’t mind.” Stefan dismisses, never paying much thought as to why Damien doesn’t mind. Stephanie knows though, she knows everything. Men are pathetic.

“Got your coffee.” Damien beams.

“Thanks mate, you’re a life saver.” Stefan takes the mug and gives a grateful smile. It’s all Damien needs. “Listen, I’ve been thinking. It should be Sky who gives Paul the kiss of life.” Stefan pre-empts Stephanie’s protests, not even noticing Damien’s disappointment. “I know Sky hates Paul’s guts but she wouldn’t let him die. And it would look better onscreen. I reckon Sky would love a chance to play the hero.”

“I guess.” Stephanie begrudgingly. “But you better not try to kiss me. That’s just gross.”

“Damien didn’t mind. It was a joke. Everybody else found it funny.” Stephanie is not amused. Stefan sighs before his expression changes to that of a child being caught doing something naughty and being told off by a grown up. “I promise, I won’t try to kiss you.” Damien knows Stefan’s got his fingers crossed.

“I wouldn’t do it dude, she’d sue you for sexual harassment.” Damien whispers into Stefan’s ear, distinctly aware of his close proximity. Stefan just laughs.

“Okay, I promise. I was just… bored. That’s all. I’ll be 100% professional from now
 on.” He insists, sincerely.

“What is your problem? Why can’t you just act your age?!” She screams.

“Aw, but that’s no fun.” Stefan smirks and Damien can’t help but smile too. “But seriously, “ Stefan finds it hard to be serious but he’s trying his best. “I’m just restless. Not enough coffee, I guess.”

“Coffee MAKES you restless Stefan.” Damien informs him. “Of course, if you’re addicted it might work the other way around.” He teases.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m sorry. I’m a jerk and an asshole and I’m sorry. But can we get this scene done already?” Stefan whines.

“You really are restless. More so than usual. You’ve got too much energy, that’s what it is. You know, you can blow off some steam with me anytime. Glad to.” And that’s the most blatant proposition Stephanie has ever heard but it’s unclear as to whether Stefan sees it that way. As flirty and as suggestive Stefan is you can never be sure that he’s aware of it. He’s either a master manipulator, or he’s oblivious. Stephanie hates that she can’t read the man.

“Thanks Damien. I’d like that.” Stefan smiles before flopping on the ground, enacting a histrionic death scene and Damien can’t stop grinning. But he’s going to have to though, and Stephanie’s going to have to wipe off that disgusted look on her face too: they’ve got a scene to shoot.
