Musical genre and bands you hate and why?: This emo shit is absolutely repulsive. It's whiny, self-indulgent and unnecessarily humorless. Still, you can occassionally catch me listening to Bright Eyes.
Why is music important to your life? (Be specific, this question is important.): What else would I listen to? But seriously? It motivates, inspires and informs every aspect of my life. Answering this question is like trying to define love, because that is what it is to me.
What is your opinion on...
Abortion: We need population control. The world's resources are fast depleting and at the same time we've tripled our population in the last thirty (?) years. Abortion is a shitty way to go about it but it happens. A combination of visectomy and expanded use of sperm banks would be much more humane. If you want to be a twat about it, I'm pro-choice.
Stem Cell Research: I'd like to live for three hundred years, sure. It's probably our best bet for evolving as fast as the times change.
Gay Marriage: Why would gay people want to ruin their sex lives? Civil Unions seem like a better idea, I think that it's a different set of circumstances than a hetero union, but they need some elevated rights as well. For me it's more a game of semantics.
Drugs (alcohol, tobacco, illegal, and such): Legalize it. Regulate it. Tax it. ANd don't drink and drive (I'm looking at you in the mirror).
Government in General: The last ones to get 'it'. Real change in society is better served by culture than politics.
Religion: Nothing ruins spiritual understandings faster than getting them from a dogmatic group of insecure power hungry old men.
Waffles: Jokes about John Kerry are soooooo dated.
