Slide guitar
To my fellow guitarist:
So I've been fucking around and playing slide with various cigarette lighters that I have around the house...
But I think it's time to drop the Twenty or so dollars on a slide.
But I'm not quite sure what kind of slide I want to buy. I'm not sure because the only guy in town that sells slides won't let you use a slide without buying it first. (Even in store just to try it out...)
Keep in mind: I'm more of a straight across the board metal guitarist, I play an Ibanez RG. My style is very Dimebag Darrel-esque, with small hints of harcore with my recent dabblings in hardcore music...
I don't want anything too bright (seeing as how I'm not playing a traditional slide guitar/resonator) but I don't want anything too dull either!
Any suggestions?
