Ok, I think I’ve worked up a list of people that haven’t been added to the members web page, and I’m going to do that either tonight or tomorrow night. (Scary that I actually do something, huh?) Once again, I am truly sorry for my neglect of this lovely little community, but you guys have been pretty boring lately and it’s not been encouraging me ( Read more... )

Lyrically (in no particular order):
"Watch Your Words" by Alter Bridge
"Under a Glass Moon" by Dream Theater
"Lines In the Sand" by Dream Theater
"Redefine" by Sevendust
"Why Does This Always Happen To Me?" by Weird Al Yankovic

Musically (again, no particular order)
"Hell's Kitchen" by Dream Theater
"A Last Illusion" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra
"The Dance of Eternity" by Dream Theater
"My God" by Jethro Tull
"Candle In the Wind" by Elton John (loser, I know)

Mood songs (more than five)
For sorrow - "Disappear", "Anna Lee", "Take Away My Pain", and "Through Her Eyes" all by Dream Theater. Also, "Broken Wings" and "In Loving Memory" by Alter Bridge. There are many other sad songs, but those are a few.

For anger - "Honor Thy Father", "Burning My Soul", "Just Let Me Breathe", "Lie", "War Inside My Head", and "The Test That Stumped Them All" all by Dream Theater. Pretty much anything by Children of Bodom. There are some good angry Sevendust songs too - "Enemy", "Face to Face", "Bitch", etc...

For contemplation - Dream Theater songs: "Lifting Shadows Off a Dream", "Lines In the Sand", "In the Name Of God", "Stream of Consciousness", "Scarred", "Voices", "Trial Of Tears", "Under a Glass Moon", "The Great Debate", "Misunderstood", "Blind Faith", Scenes From a Memory, and several others.

For uplifting(ness): Dream Theater songs: "Another Day", "Hollow Years", "Learning to Live"... Alter Bridge songs: "One Day Remains" and "Metalingus"...Sevendust song - "Praise"...all of Tony MacAlpine's instrumental stuff. Most of Malmsteen's stuff, particularly instrumentals. And of course "Guitars Suck" by Bumblefoot

For humor: any Weird Al song pretty much. Most Bumblefoot songs are hilarious. Of course, rap is pretty funny to listen to...it always makes me laugh.

Hmm...I don't think I named enough songs.
