Probably speaking for quite a few people, take a few minutes...and really think about how you feel on some of these subjects. This doesn't mean that you have to have a paragraph for each question...but we generally like to see people put some serious thought into these aps!
For example: You said that your favorite book is The Exorcist. Is that your only favorite book? Surely you've read other books, what other books really get you going? Why do you love the Exorcist? Do you like the writing style, the story? -What part of the book do you like? (Please note: Generally we tend not to "judge" you based on things like these, but it shows us what kind of stuff your into and what you're passionate about!)
One thing that I did want to comment on to your ap is your Music Genre. I (speaking for myself) tend not to classify Nirvana, ICP and Chevelle as heavy metal.
What about Old school Metallica, Pantera, Mudvayne, Kill Switch, Sevendust, Black Sabbath, Lamb Of God? -What do you think about those bands?
Interesting convo that I'm about to start with you: What do you think "Rape Me" was about?

You know...I had suggested Lamb Of God to someone in another community...who mind you liked In Flames, Metallica...and a bunch of other thrashy metal bands....but they hated Lamb Of God...
Is it the vocals?
(this is something that we may have to sidebar, but I was just kinda curious how you can like all these metal bands with all these great dynamics, time changes, and just heavy heavy riffs, and not like Lamb of God)
See.. not to sound like a fucking idiot but.. I've always been weirdly anti-Phil.. I love his voice.. love his work.. but I hate the man he is. Yet I love 'bain and Layne Staley who [were] fucking heroinites just like Phil is/was.. whatever.. yikes.. I don't know where I'm taking this.. lol I guess it's not like Phil drug people down with him [unlike Nathan Gale thought].. he just fucked up his own life.
I pretty much agree with you about Phil. The guy had some really great ideas and themes about his music, his vocals, and his lryics, but he was too much of an addict to live a decent life!
And now it wouldn't surprise me if we never heard from him again!

Pantera really was one of those bands where everyone carried their own weight. Everyone held their on thing down, and did a hell of a job on it
