Two things:
I've got muddy blond hair, but my eye lashes are jet black (my eyes are blue). Yesterday I bought a plum mascara with a bit of sparkle. It's defining my lashes (which is all I use my normal mascara for - my lashes are already long) but I'm seeing no color/sparkle. I was hoping for at least a sparkle - is it just that my lashes are already black and nothing funky will show up on them or did I get a bad mascara?
I'm trying to streamline my morning routine for the office, though I'm looking to expand a bit. Currently, I moisturize, apply foundation if needed/concealer, and eyeshadow/blush. It takes a maximum of 5 minutes. Is there anything simple I can add to this (like a quick way to apply liquid liner - normally it takes me a bit of time to apply)/make it look a little nicer? (I use a rose blush and a bronze shadow daily.)
Is there a color family for lipstick that matches a lot of outfits? I'm quite pale (L'Oreal True Match Cool 01 Alabaster, if that helps) with cool undertones and most of my winter work clothes are black, white, or jewel toned. I feel like the red I use for dates is too strong for work. (Especially if there's a drug store brand that's long lasting, so I'm not reapplying while I'm trying to work.)
