hot rollers
I'm looking for tutorials on how to wrap your hair in hot rollers. In-depth tutorials are preferred, because I'm unsure about the following things:
- How to roll up the hair to achieve certain looks.
- How rolling a specific direction changes the overall look of the hair.
- The best way to begin rolling the hair.
- Preparation, parting, and any tools one might need.
- Specific products.
- What to do to maintain the curls or fix them in a pinch if something goes wrong.
- How to roll hair with tons of grown out layers that are all over the place.
I would really prefer videos. If you have any articles, I would strongly prefer pictures since I've never done this before and I'm pretty bad at styling my hair with anything other than a flat iron and a blow dryer.
I also have a few questions:
- What size curling iron would you recommend for achieving loose spiral waves? The best example I can think of would be Kate Hudson.
- Do you have any tutorials about different hair styles you can make after curling your hair?
- If you have any other tips or tricks you'd like to tell me about that they don't usually mention in articles, I'd love to hear those too!
