So, I had my first derm appointment yesterday and she told me to follow this plan:
- Take tetracycline twice a day.
- Wash with a 5% benzoyl peroxide wash.
- Use .1% tretinoin cream every other day. (which is pretty much generic Retin-A, right?)
- Switch from liquid foundation to mineral.
- switch to CeraVe moisturizer.
I read through the memories and tags, and did some googling. But I just wanted to know who had experience with these and how effective they were for you? I know it's kind of a hit or miss when it comes to skin, and it varies from person to person, but I just wanted a general idea. Also, with the tretinoin cream, approximately how long does the flakiness and initial worsening last?
Thanks! <3
