Everyone seems to love love love and love EDM.
This is my second time trying them and I can't say that I'm as pleased as you all are.
I got some testers close to my shade in Original Glo and I STILL have problems with it caking slightly around my eye area and my laugh lines. I use primer and DiorSkin Forever foundation underneath.
To me it seems like I'm wearing too much makeup/foundation so I'm asking this:
1.Does EDM provide enough coverage to lessen or eliminate the need for liquid foundation despite it being in the Original Glo formula?
2.I use a kabuki (Too Faced), does it work better with a less dense brush? A regular powder brush? What do most of you guys use?
3. Does anyone find EDM drying? I have combination t-zone oily skin but it's mild. Some days I don't blot and some days I do but it hasn't been such a bother. Today, wearing EDM my skin feels dry around my cheeks and my eyes. Is there an ingredient in there that absorbs oils in my t-zone but at the same time is absorbing neccessary oils in my cheeks thus making it cake?
I really want to like EDM because it's an eco-concious alternative. I use Physician's Formula now and it works fine, doesn't cake however the SHADES are slightly uninspiring thus, leaving me either a shade lighter or darker and never perfect.
UPDATE - Today I tried using no DiorSkin Forever as some of you have mentioned and applied Bo-ing concealer from Benefit and EDM O-Glo on top using my regular kabuki. Same exact effect. So, some of you have advised that I should try the semi-matte or intensive because O-Glo seems to cake for some reason. Is it a foundation that is fairly matte? - I got O-Glo because I wanted that dewy finish and very sheer type of look. So far, I'm having bad luck with EDM and I may give up but I'll try the intensive/semi-matte if it isn't MATTE MATTE.
TIA you guys are always so helpful
