Haircut advice/Styling products
In a couple weeks, I am going to be getting my hair cut into a medium pixie (picture of what I want will be under the cut). I have always had long/very long hair, so this is going to be a big change for me! I'm wondering what I should use to style it. I'm looking for specific product recommendations. I have heard that wax/pomade will be my best friend, but am clueless as to what to look for in them. I am using "Dear Whippy" as hairspiration, and I know she recommends Bed Head Small Talk thickening creme, and ShortSexyHair Play Dirty spray wax. I have ordered the spray wax from Amazon (though I think it's discontinued), and am not sure if I'll need a thickening creme since my hair is naturally pretty thick.
Do you think something like Garnier Fructis Surf Hair Texturizing Paste would work well on short hair? Most of the reviews I see for it are from people with shoulder-length hair. Like I said, I'm fairly clueless, haha.
I am hoping for something like this, though maybe a little shorter to start with.
