Halloween Post! Your Costumes + Some Advice.

I love Halloween, and this is the first year in ages that I've have a reason to get dressed up! I already have my outfit picked out, but I want to know - what are you ladies going as? Something sexy, something scary, something classy? I love discussing this kind of stuff!
Now for the advice portion - my boyfriend and I are dressing up as characters from Mad Men (Long story: he would only get dressed up if he could wear a suit, so I suggested Don Draper - even though he's never seen an episode of Mad Men, but I adore the show). I want to go with lipstick because bold colours were a thing in the 50s, but I've never worn lipstick - ever. So, what's a nice bold colour that won't clash with my dress (paired with black heels) and would look okay with my skintone (my hair is blonde at the front now)?
