Flat Iron Recommendations

My GHD IV finally crapped out on me after more than three years. Can anyone recommend an equally good, lesser priced alternative? I have thick, relatively straight shoulder-length hair. Thanks in advance!

i really like my solia. sedus are good as well

I ended up buying a Solia off Folica. It had good reviews and the price is great, especially since it comes with a 2-year warranty and carrying case.

I also wanted to add, I did have a wiring issue with my Solia and Folica was able to replace it twice (within 2 year warranty period) for like $10-15. I thought that was nice.
