what color eye shadow for blue eyes?

I am a brunette with warm skin tone but light complexion and sky blue eyes (similar to Cameron Diaz's color).  What colors would make my color stand out more.  I'm not looking for anything over the top but something a bit more than neutral.  I have some eye shadows but they seem to be more noticeable than my eye color.  Or I've tried some browns (even the darker ones) and they often don't even seem to be noticeable at all.

Any help would be appreciated.
