i am not quite sure what the order should be when applying topical medications/moisturizers on your face.
usually, i will apply whichever medication i am using at the time on my skin, let it dry (about 1 min or so) since i am always in a rush in the am, then apply my moisturizer. is that enough time for it to sink in, or does it need to more time? at night , i do have more time obviously.
also, i am using a combination of Salicylic acid and Benzyl peroxide cream (both the lowest dosages) because my pores get very clogged. is one better to use in the am rather than the eve? is one best for prevention and one more for treating current spots? i dont use both at the same time.
also, i am considering purchasing some SPF for my face that is oil and scent free as well. i dislike face lotions that have spf in them- no matter what they make my face feel greasy. plus, the stuff i use on my face to moisturize, that i LOVE ( argan oil and DDF oil free lotion) dont have spf so i really do need some. do you apply the SPF first and then the lotion? if you can suggest any certain SPFS that i should check out it would be GREATLY appreciated.
lastly, i have some sunspots on my face, and i am considering getting a chemical peel or microdermabrasion to try and eliminate them. i have tried products by origins (scrubs and serums) but they really did not help at all. do you know how effective either a chemical peel or professional microdermabrason would be? how many treatments would be needed? i am going to make an apoointment with a dermatologist but i know i wont be able to see one for at least a few months (they are sooo booked!!)
thank you for your time :)
