Blush and gift issues.
Blush and Mineral Makeup:
I've been having some issues lately with my blush staying on my face. It's pretty much the one thing I need to look alive, so it's irritating.
I have been making a half-assed switch to mineral makeup (Alima). I literally LOVE it or HATE it depending on the day. It either makes my face look flawless or chalky and powdery (and...crusty?), even though my application process doesn't change. So during this switch, I noticed that my blush faded super fast every day, like if I put it on before work, it's gone by noon. I experimented with primer (Smashbox) vs. no primer, various blushes (mostly MAC and Korres), and nothing really changed. Then I noticed it happening when I wear my regular liquid foundation, but not when I wear blush w/out foundation underneath. I've been setting everything w/ Mineral Veil, which is another new thing. Any advice?
Men's Fingerless Gloves:
I'm looking for a really perfect pair of gloves for my bf for Christmas. I want them to be made of soft wool (or equally nice fabric), not too bulky...he's pretty picky and I want to get the best. No luck so far in stores or online!! Has anyone seen anything good they can recommend? Or any websites you think would have something like this.
Also, I'm shit out of ideas for the holidays this year. What are you guys wanting? Maybe that'll get the ball rolling.
OH and one more thing, I bought a killer pair of platform pumps but they're a tad too big (the heel slips off). I have the ball-of-foot inserts in there already, what else can I do to not look a fool?
