I am considering going no shampoo/conditioner due to the texture of my hair and the way it behaves with any shampoos. My hair is thick-ish and wavy, and gets dry at the ends. I wash it every 2-3 days because it was long and annoying. I recently cut it, so it will be easier to manage.
My questions are: If I do this, and only use apple cider vinegar and baking soda as my cleansers, how long can I go between showers? I understand there's a 'grace' period in which your hair adjusts, but after that, how often should I ideally wash it, given that my hair is slightly coarse and wavy? How often should I use the baking soda and ACV? Some people say only once a week, and some people make it seem like it needs to be done every time you shower.
Also, I'd appreciate any other tips as well for this process. Thanks in advance!
