The Sparklebutt has a BAD Mommy... Happy 1st BIRFDAY Babyspitz!
Sparkles had her big first birthday bash on saturday. We bought her an adorable birthday dress (Dea picked it out herself), and took a pics we posted on facebook, but I didn't make this blog post yet. WHOOPS! I don't think she minds, as she loved the cookies she got, and her adorable dress and the blog isn't too big of an interest to her since she can't type, or read ;)
The dress is from Jill Bowden of Designer Dogwear & More. Jill makes AWESOME dresses, and other apparel and is so helpful. She spent about 15 mins measuring Galaxy for the perfect working jacket for her, making sure it would be the perfect length, and depth to protect her from the rain and mud when she's working. We got this dress from Jill, and are getting more in the future.
We ordered a custom ladybug dress and leash, and a sparkly star dress for Spark from Designer Dogwear & More. The ladybug dress will be blue, and pink- I can't wait to see it! I'll try to get better pics of Sparkles in her birthday dress soon, but weather has been terrible here, and when it's not, it seems I'm in a classroom ;) heehee Dea and Sparkles both love dresses, esp when visiting with people. These dresses are very durable, made as harnesses so I foresee them lasting forever. Jill has such an excellent eye for style, and you can really tell her passion for these dresses, and other doggy gear when you talk to her. She's awesome, and I suggest people look at her stuff if you're looking for apparel, vests, jackets, or other fashionable dog gear.
