today was fun! tina called and woke me up at like 9:30 and wanted me to go the beach with her when she got out of school at 12. but my car was in the shop and she was already in p-cola so she had to come back into pace to get me. but she did and we met folk at the beach. it was cold, windy, and cloudy. it was still alot of fun though. then we all headed to georgio's for pizza. it was ok...
church tonight... WOW - what a wake up call! i havent been in so long. brian - my youth leader - spoke on leadership. its really something that i needed to hear because i've really been slacking and not holding myself accountable for my role as a "leader" in my youth group. brain looked right at me when he said "its not by chance that some people that havent been here in a while are here tonight." and i totally knew he was talking to/about me. and thats all i needed to hear. no more excuses. no more lame reasons. if i want my youth group to be bigger and better for God i have to be willing to step up and fulfill my role as a leader. done! acquire the fire is coming up in april and im so extremely excited. its going to be amazing!
