Age & Canon Point: 17 when she arrived, 19 at present. She arrived at the Garden at the end of the ballroom scene, prior to finding out what the magic mirror would show her and the Beast as they sat upon the balcony.

Adam and Belle both arrived during a cool, clear morning at Garden. Their arrival was quickly followed by much excitement when they both found Adam's beastly curse mysteriously broken, and him returned to his human form.
Surprise and, of course, hugs were to be had. They shared an almost a tentative first kiss before they were interrupted and informed of where exactly they were. Once brought to the Headmasters office, both Belle and Adam were given more details and their options were laid out for them. When Headmaster Cid left them to discuss it, they spent the time going through what they truly and deeply wanted in their new life. Eventually, it was decided to take up the offer of assisting with the school -- first through cadets and then as SeeDs -- for as long as the were stuck here. The Time Compression seemed like another curse, but if they could overcome it and perhaps help others overcome and adjust as well, then they would.
Their time at Garden was eventful, to say the least.
Adam had a penchant for being easily frustrated. He required study groups and much more in-depth training skills for the field. While he was not the best academically, he proved to be a good student in courses such as ballroom dancing, art, and surprisingly, those that called upon his stealth. He never really enjoyed deep, direct missions wherein he was made to go after targets, but with his discovered beast form he could swiftly finish a mission. You see, though the time compression had taken the brunt of the Enchantress's curse, it still left behind a trace that was activated by a rush of adrenaline and reverted Adam back to his beast-like form.
Belle seemed to be the opposite of Adam in most ways. While she had rather brilliant coordination and a penchant for all written/book work, she had none of the natural strength Adam had for their field work, nor near as much of his stamina. Still, she managed to find enjoyment in classes that relied upon para-magic and showed wonderful progress with weaponry such as chain whips and smaller firearms.
With work, they both managed to help each other where the other fell, completing difficult tasks (and not so difficult ones, such as Ballroom Dancing) and grew as one whole instead of two different people. Their close bond with one another left them able to understand what the other was going to do on a mission almost instantaneously. This, coupled with Adam's found ability to transform back and forth upon the rush of adrenaline made them a unique team, well suited for equally unique missions.
Much to Cid's frustration, however, they also proved to be quite the deal in-tune with their hormones.
It seemed innocent enough, for the most part, picnics whenever the weather permitted and sneaking off to the Secret Area to be alone... But at certain times it did evolve to several occasions of misplaced dormmates, locked rooms, shared showers and holed up closets.
It was no secret when upon graduation, a wedding was announced. That the wedding was small and casual was a relief. A simple ceremony with fellow schoolmates and those past instructors in attendance. After all they had gone through since coming to the Garden, and before hand, simple and casual was a relief and a thing to cherish for them. Though the family they had left behind wasn't able to celebrate it with them, they were overjoyed that their new found friends and allies were.
A short, yet thoroughly enjoyed honeymoon later, both were back at the Garden, but as Lv3 SeeDs and up-taking mainly joint missions to fit their status and abilities.
Adam mainly took stance as the brunt of the force. He rather preferred being the front of the line to make way for Belle's much-needed and effective assistance. He took the hits, while she managed to quickly made her way to help continue the efforts. At times Adam was able to keep back his adrenaline and fight in his human form, but most of the time he was in beast form, and still sustained injuries.
Belle was incredibly accurate and almost dainty as a fighter, certainly one of the few that could be described that and still seen as powerful. She was the one that noticed the slight things that were off, and spotted the openings. If one ended up hit, the other seemed to lend their strength and both came out serving up retaliation harder than the had received.
Their time off the field was spent much as they spent it as cadets. Adam enjoyed slight mischief, will exploring the towns and cities. When not being cowed into staying in bed with a cast by his wife, Adam spent his time pulling his wife along one city-centered adventure after another. As much as she would chide him for getting into particular bouts of mischief, Belle loved the adventure and all as much as Adam did and could be found right beside him, more often than not. This was the life she had longed for, and she had found the perfect one to share it with.
As often as they spent exploring, going through their own adventures, Belle always managed to pull Adam into a library or bookstore or three along the way. Time of peace and quiet could be seen being spent curled up against one another, a single book in hand as both read at the same time and, as often as it wasn't seen, they had their time with both behind closed doors.
However, after a certain amount of missions, the fighting and the blood got a little old. Adam grew tired of fighting, as the constant roar and tearing of targets reminded him of his dark past as a destructive child and feral beast. Still, Belle stood by him, bringing him back when she could and doing what she could to remind him that that wasn't what he was anymore. That he was Adam, and he was her's.
They relied on each other, helped each other, and when a letter from Cid arrived with updates Garden's happenings they both decided together that it was time to return to Garden.
Abilities & Physical Abnormalities:
► Riding. Belle is comfortable and skilled upon a horse, and given the setting this would probably transfer well to Chocobos.
► Awareness. Even when her focus is devided, she seems to know when someone or something is around her and able to dodge obstacles in her path, as well as use other objects that suddenly appear and use them to dodge or protect her from other things.
► Intelligence. Not only is she a well read individual, but appears to retain the information she learns rather well. This extends into her cunning and wit, able to turn a comeback rather easily.
Personality:
Belle is a kind, curious young woman who likes to dream, explore things and almost always has a smile on her face. Stubborn and outspoken, Belle rarely lets her anger get too much of the best of her, but she will argue with another if the matter is dear to her heart. She often finds the best in every situation, though that doesn't mean she'll accept one that she doesn't agree with or like. If she knows something is wrong, she will argue and fight for what is right.
Due to her immense love of books and reading, however, she has often been seen as a girl with her head in the clouds and dubbed "rather odd". That couldn't be farther from the truth. She may spend some of her time reading books, but that doesn't stray her away from reality. Belle has a good understanding of the way the world works, she just happens to love to read and explore the worlds within her books, letting them set scenes for her dreams and imagination. Though prior to arriving in the garden she hadn't many opportunities to act upon it, Belle is a woman who loves adventure as much as she does curling up in a comfortable chair with a good book.
She is a very attentive individual. Evidence in this can be seen whenever she walks while reading. Despite her focus seeming only upon the book within her grasp, Belle has an uncanny ability to be aware of her surroundings at almost all times, dodging things without looking and other similar acts.
Above all, however, Belle is quite passionate and caring, doing what she can to protect and take care of those around her. Preconceived judgments are something she has little of. Whether it's an human or some other sort of creature, all are equal in Belle's eyes until they prove themselves otherwise.
What are your plans for the character in-game? Lovey-dovey, possibly hilarious and awesome stuff with the hubby. A chance at the life they both wanted, but didn't quite discuss, in the movies.
Anything else? She's still gonna spend plenty of free time reading.

[A smile alights Belle's face, her being thoroughly engrossed in the current book within her hands as she sits at an otherwise unoccupied table in the library. She's appears to be quite far gone within her reading and seemingly unaware of everyone else within the room, let alone near by. It's not hard to imagine that a herd of chocobos could be running about, darting in and out of the shelves, jumping from atop the computers, and she wouldn't bat an eye.
However... as you approach, she speaks up without ever looking up from her book. Her voice is soft, as you're in the library after all, but not as distracted as you'd imagine from the bookworm SeeD.]
