i see said the blind man as he pissed into the wind...its all coming back to me now
so wow, finals are over, and so is school...this year has gone by so fast...all these memories are coming back to me and sticking in my head...
at the beginning of the year, i had my set group of friends that i have hung out with since middle school. amy, elyse, and julia. i also had a friend that i made in freshman year, christian. they were pretty much the extent of my "social circle." i was looking forward to making new friends and trying out new things. during the first few months of school, i started hanging out with a guy that i knew form last year, but never really talked to. i got to know him, and started to like him as more than a friend. when we started going out, i met some of his friends, and have started hanging out with them. even through the rough times of when he hated me, i still had the friends i made through him. in my rotc class and rifle team, i met zac. even though i started sitting with him at lunch to annoy him and talk to him, i made friends with the group of people on his end of the table. now i am close with them, and am sad to see them go into college or the military. i love you guys and i will miss you so much next year! i also started to talk to lauren alot more. we even started hanging out after school. lauren, i want to thank you for introducing me to keith and for showing em that its ok to be yourself.
when i was in the hospital, it really meant alot to me that all my friends came to see me. the fact that you guys werent afraid to come and see me with a needle in my arm meant alot. you helped me keep my sanity and cheered me up. also, it meant alot that you took time out of your vacations to come to boston.
amy, elyse, kathryn, and jenna, you guys really helped me get through that whole deal with christian.
amy, elyse, jenna, stefan, christian, richie, tim; thanks for coming over and partying. yea, i got in trouble for it, but i have to say, it was worth it. it was really fun and i love you guys, just for being you.
zac, lynds, james, katie, mckay, lauren, aaron, brenton; thanks for kidnapping me and corrupting me. if it wasnt for you, i would never have skipped school or any classes. lol.
so many memories, in just a few months. i now have more friends than i ever thought a little elementary school nerd would have. all of you guys are great, and i want to keep in touch. also, this year, i have had my heart broken a few times by different people, but you know what, i have keith now, and i am happier than ever.
so now, i just want to thank you all again for everything you have done throughout the year. thanks for being there for me through all the rough times.
and evan, i jsut want to thank you for giving me the courage to share that secret from my past. it has lifted so much weight off my shoulders knowing that i'm no longer the only one who knows, and that i have someone who i can kind of talk about it with.
