D'aww. Your puppy is cute! :)

Point 1: I agree with you on Craig Horner and Book!Richard. I started reading Book 1 when Season 1 ended & the show took a break. Book!Richard was different enough in personality to me that I didn't have too much of a hard time separating the two, though. But I agree with you in the sense that I cannot reconcile them, in my mind. They always have to exist as two separate characters.

Point 2: I agree with you on Bridget's appearance in S1 vs. S2. They changed her makeup...significantly. When I saw the previews for S2, I hated it. I got used to it more as S2 went on, but I'll always prefer S1 makeup. And, frankly...the white dress. (Though, I really did appreciate the thigh-showing aspect of S2's 'ninja' dress. I think they could have incorporated that 'improvement' somehow into the white dress, Y/Y? Wat? She has NICE legs!) ;)

But anyway: Yeah, I have a big beef about the makeup in S2. Bridget is naturally beautiful and looked so pretty and natural in S1; and to me, she looked WAY overdone in S2. Frankly, it detracted from B's natural beauty. Ugh--makeup should NEVER do that!!! --pet peeve.

Point 3: I totally agree with you on Twilight. There is just a ton of hate going around the internet for it, and really sadly/unfortunately in the Seeker and Harry Potter fandom 'verses, too. I too really enjoyed the books. Like you, not as impressed with the films...but *shrugs*. So, there you go: One more voice standing against a lot of the lemming-like 'hate' for it.

Final note (not a 'Point'): I want to read the Cara/Kahlan focused books, too. But I'm kind of hesitant about skipping parts (I hate feeling in the dark about aspects of the plot that may affect our heroines in the future in the books), and at the same time I don't want to muck through more boring stuff in book 3 (where I'm stalled at, now...nearly still on page 1) just to get there. *sigh*

I know eventually I'm going to, though. But I'm definitely stopping after the good Cara/Kahlan parts are over. I'm not going through the whole dang series...especially through to the end to see Cara marry a man. I just want the C/K stuff. *grin*

He's the cuttest thing EVER. :D

At least they're two separate characters to you, they're still the same character to me, and that's why i have such a hard time imagining someone else, not Craig.
But when i start reading i'm sure that problem will disappear if the two of them are so different.
But how the hell am i going to imagine blonde Bridget, cause Kahlan is blonde in the books, right?

Sorry, but i like Bridget's looks in s2 much better. In season 1 she looks plain and washed out, not how i would picture the most beautiful woman of the Midlands. *shrug*
Her legs are the best part of her body, that's for sure. :P

Wooot *hi5* Finally someone on my f-list that loves Twilight. :D I didn't know you read them. :D

But the thing is CK parts are never really over as far as i know. There are books where they have more interaction, then the ones with very little focus on them, but in general they are best friends and in every book there are some great scenes with them. (i did a research on this :P)
I am sure Benjamin is a wonderful man if Cara picked him, and i won't have any problem with her marrying him. Why are you upset that she married a man? LOL...She is straight in the books, or at least bi. ;)

*hi5*s back :D

And: Ugh, you had to mention that I can't really get all the cool Kahlan/Cara interaction moments without reading all (well, almost all) of those books!? Seriously?

I heard mainly books 4 and 6 are what I want to read. Bleh...this discussion (which books to read for the Kahlan/Cara stuff) has been had over and over. Sorry, I don't mean to revive it. ;p I think I'll just try to read Book 3, see how it goes, and then at least go through Book 4 before I determine if I'm going to need to wade through Book 5 and whether I'm going to skim Book 6 or read the whole thing. *heavy sigh*

Oh, and the reason I don't want to read through to the end and see Cara wind up with Benjamin is because in the books, she's actually not even bi. She's just straight. And it will ruin my imagination (of seeing her having those kind of feelings toward Kahlan) and my OTP.

(For some reason, book canon Richard/Kahlan is easily ignorable, to me. It's selective imagination. LOL Besides, (sorry show actors) TV Richard/Kahlan got too blah/non-spark-y for me, and made it easier to mentally deny that R&K are even a "real" item in the books, now, too. *snorfle* (Though I feel bad saying that. Look, I'm just extremely C/K "spark" biased. Although it *cough*doesn't take much bias*cough*.)

I never read the books so i don't know for sure, but yeah i heard C/K have great moments in every book, they're best friends and sisters of the agiel. ;)

Well if you're going to look at it like that, Kahlan is straight both in the books and on the show. Doesn't that bother you?
And we don't know for sure if Cara is straight in the books, i personally think she's blind to sex, i'm sure she slept with her mord'sith sisters in the books also, it's just that Terry never wrote about it.

That's why i'm trying to picture Bridget with someone else, then i'm sure i'll be able to enjoy reading about their relationship. So many people love them in the books, it's a shame B/C look so funny together. *sigh*

When i read this paragraph i decided to read the books:

“Kahlan felt tears running down her face. She didn’t want Cara to die. She didn’t know why she should feel so much for this woman, except perhaps because no one else did. The soldiers wouldn’t even come down to see why she had stopped screaming. She could have choked to death on her own vomit. Something as simple as that, not magic, could have killed her because they were afraid, or perhaps because no one cared if she died.

“Hold on, Cara. I care.” She smoothed the Mord-Sith’s hair back from her clammy forehead. “I care. We want you to live.””

I'm so happy that they're so close. Gosh how i want season 3 or at least a tv movie with more C/K. Although i'm sure we'd get more R/K now that they can have sex. BOOOOORING!
