Wow! I can't believe it's been this long since I've updated.

Josh and I got married on November 11, 2011 at 11:11am at the oldest tree in Buffalo, a sycamore tree that lives down the street from us. This is a special tree because a group of modern age monks meditate with their arms wrapped around the tree daily. It's like a tree from a dinosaur movie-huge. I've been studying various forms of yoga as well as corresponding transcendental meditation. Trying to keep my feet rooted to the soil, resisting my body from floating away in the midst of this bogus fast paced life. But really, combining what I've already learned through my school path(s) with physical postures to release secret energy bound in each chakra that naturally heals the body's ailments. Back to the very first thing I wanted go to school for- Holistic Healing. Starting with herbal medicine, physical massage therapy, and combining biochemical nutrition. There has to be a way to combine nutrition, exercise science, and philosophical meditation with epidemiology to make one profession for me to help others for the rest of my life. Completing my Bikram studies I will acquire my Yoga for Kids Teacher Certificate. Then I can work on the training to teach everyone. Eventually I will be certified to help those who have special needs and are elderly. I got accepted to nursing school, so  I'm going to slowly get my degree so that I can be an even better teacher of the body. Time to get ready for class! <3
