xmas story
hey everyone, i thought in the spirit of the holidays, i should write a christmas story (yes i said christmas, screw this p.c. bullshit) so here goes...
last christmas, my cousin decided to get a christmas tree for his wife so he and his dad (my uncle) went out to get a tree. they go to the lot and find a nice tree, however, it was a bit of a wet season so there was water frozen on the tree. they got the tree, but didn't know what to do about all the ice on the tree. then, my uncle got a 'brilliant' idea on how to get rid of the ice... why not put it through a car wash? yes, a car wash.
so they go to the nearby self serve car wash and sprayed the tree with hot water, gave it a good shake and it looked beautiful. the branches were perfect, it looked great. so they were like 'ok let's drive home really fast and get it inside really fast so it doesn't freeze again'. so they put it back on the truck bed and zoomed home.
When they got home, unfortunately, when they went to get the tree out of the back of the truck, it had frozen onto the truck bed. so they yank it off and the tree seems fine.-from the front. he you turned it sideways, the tree was about two inches thick. the water weighed down the branches and it was flat as a board! so they are trying to defrost it with hair dryers and heaters, putting it in a tent to hold the heat, the eventually wrap it with seran wrap and put it in a tent with 3 space heaters to defrost it...
lets just say they got a new tree for my cousins wife, and because of my uncles genius, he kept that tree.
