On another positive note, I have been hired for 2 more photo shoots in the next couple weeks. Both are for one of the drag kings (aka male impersonators) that I work with at the bar. One is a photographed process of her transformation. The other will be a series of promotional shots. She has also received compliments on the other promo pics I shot for her, and people have been asking if I'm available to shoot them. I'm really excited about this!
Student teaching begins January 12 for me. I am really nervous. I'm working with one of the best art teachers in Indiana - he even won Teacher of the Year a few years ago, and he's really well-known. I know that no matter what I do, I'm going to feel ridiculously unprepared, but if any fellow educators have any advice, I'd really appreciate it.
