a job...?
I was perusing some online stuff today when I decided to go to bookjobs.com.
You know, just to look.
And wouldn't you know it, the job I've been waiting for was posted yesterday.
Editorial assistant.
Non-fiction house.
IN WESTPORT.
This means... I don't have to commute an hour and a half to NYC for a low-paying job.
I can commute 45 minutes for the same low-paying job.
They are getting a cover letter and resume from me by Tuesday at the latest.
Things are starting to look up job-wise.
Oh, and that pesky thesis - 54 pages. Ending is almost done. Whatevskies.
EDIT: I finished my thesis last night at 9:30pm. It's 56.25 pages. I couldn't be happier.
